The 1747-DPS2 is an Allen-Bradley port splitter module designed to expand one RS-232/DF1 full-duplex communication port on a controller into two separate ports. These ports are designated for simultaneous communication with different devices: one for the controller and the other for network connections. Compatible with SLC 500, PLC-5, MicroLogix, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and FlexLogix controllers, the 1747-DPS2 operates with an external supply voltage of 24VDC.
